Onshore Wind Projects

Onshore wind turbines harness the power of the wind on land to generate clean energy and actively reduce CO₂ emissions. These wind farms play an important role in regional energy supply and strengthen local security of supply through renewable power. With increasingly powerful and efficient turbines, onshore wind continues to make a significant contribution to the energy transition.

Partner with WV Energie AG to develop onshore wind projects and rely on a sustainable, future-proof energy source.

Our Onshore Wind Projects

WV Energie AG made its entry into onshore wind in 2012 with a stake in the Holzhausen wind farm in Brandenburg — a site comprising three turbines with a combined capacity of 6 MW, located southeast of Holzhausen.

Today, we are advancing the development of another wind project in the Wertachtal region, in collaboration with our partners. Positioned next to our existing solar park, the project ensures a strong complement between wind and solar generation.

Key Facts around our wind farm development Wertachtal:

  • 21 MW installed capacity
  • 3 wind energy turbines
  • COD: targeted for 2027
  • Operator: Energiepark Amberg II GmbH
